Thou art the umbilical,
The perpetual sustainer of life and realm.
All else thrive off you.

Thou art the source,
Providing food, light and warmth.
The crux of the Circle.

Thou art an epitome;
of faith and of hope and of glory and of good things to come.
Invigorating all creation.

Thou art precision,
Rising and setting at daily dawn and nightly dusk.
Tirelessly, uncomplainingly.

Yet thou art a sinner,
The elusive mastermind behind volatile weather.
Seemingly destructive.

Yet thou art relentless,
Raining upon all your searing arrows.
Pain inflicting foe.

Yet thou art the Hunchback.
loathed for your enthusiasism and passionate present of warmth.
Blind beyond reason.

Thou art everything.
Yet in the eyes of everything,
Thou art nothing.
